Battle Witches

Disclaimer: Not actually about witches at all.

I posted on my main blog about the idea of beauty and the beast as a wider trope, not focused on the innocent woman and the hairy misunderstood brute. But instead, just any juxtaposition of a beautiful woman with a monster as her companion.

In that post, I only talked about the woman and monster. Of course this trope isn't limited to that. You can have a male character who is in the role of the beautiful one and a female monster. And of course it could be male/male or female/female. That's all fine and dandy, though at some point the basis of the trope is stretched too thin.

I am only talking about this stuff from my own perspective, exploring ideas that excite me personally.

Years ago I thought about this idea and conceived Battle Witches... which is either going to be a pinup book or a game. Maybe a comic. Maybe nothing ever. But I like the title.
