Still in love with her, can't help it. Won't apologize.

Here's a small roundup of some of my recent favorite drawings of Hymla the Horn. I am hoping to put together a Hymla art book in 2024. No specific plans yet, but I've built up quite a cache of drawings and she just keeps popping up in my sketchbook over and over.
I think I love her.
Here's a previous post with more Hymla art.
Anyone who happens to see this and is interested in a Hymla art book, drop a comment if you can. Helps me to know I'm not just screaming into the void.
Over on my main blog I posted about Hymla the Horn. She is a character who is right at home on thsis blog, but is too god damn aggressive to be kept down. She wants to be all over the place.

| The first Hymla drawing I can find, 2022. |
Drew a couple of new Hymla sketches last night in my sketchbook. I'm falling in love with this rude slayer so hard.
Way back long long ago, perhaps as early as 2010, I was working on this comic idea about a chainmail chick character I simply called "the Barbarian". It went nowhere. I just couldn't get past page 2, even after doing a bunch of scripting and doodling.
I guess at some point I put the pages into a printed zine that never saw the light of day. I have exactly one copy of this thing.
I titled this one "The Fighting Men of Whitdor". I do not remember why. But I do know that Whitdor is the name of a northern region of my fantasy setting Yria, which has never been published or detailed publically to any significant degree. Back of my head idea is to publish it some day as a BX, Labyrinth Lord, Old School Essentials sort of thing. We'll see.
Here's a good one. I really really love this. I want to do more like it, when I find the time and energy. Fat girls with swords? HELL YEAH, BITCH.
This is a character I put in a short comic and drew frequently. I alternated her name between Rayel and Frostlick but ultimately she's just The Barbarian.
Here's an image I did early on when I switched to digital drawing. I believe she was actually one of my first digital pinups. I was going for a simple cartoon/comic book style and I feel like I achieved it here. The colors are a bit saturated but I'm ok with that.
